Awards

As a result of its efforts by disseminating broadcast activities, Canal 22 productions have received many national and international awards, like the followings:

  • UNESCO CAMERA AWARD 1997-2000, for Best Cultural Policy.
  • National Journalist Award 1996, for Cultural Diffusion.
  • National Journalist Award 1997, for the series "Light of Memory".
  • Series "Eisenstein in México: The Eternal Circle "

-MIDIA Award (Spain), 1997.

-Honorable Mention at the International Television and Movie Festival of Cartagena, Colombia, 1997.

  • "Private Universe: Being a Scientist in Mexico"

-First Place in Science Subject at the VIII National Festival of Movies and Scientific Video, 1994.

  • "The Raw of Dreams: Slaves of Time"

-First Place in the Science and Technology in the same Festival that have been placed in Aguascalientes, in 2001. Besides "The Music of the Sphere" got Honorable Mention and the Carlos Velo Award for Best Documentary in this Festival.
